How to reach Zermatt?

If you travel by car, you have to leave your car in Täsch (7Km from Zermatt). You leave your vehicule in one of the many parking lots in Täsch(charges apply). From Täsch to Zermatt you go eather by train or by taxi. If you are travelling by train from another city or from an airport to Zermatt you have to change trains in Visp.

How to reach the hotel from the train station / Taxistand Zermatt?

Our hotel is approximately 10 minutes by foot from the station. If you walk, follow the main street until you reach the church and just before the church you turn left. After the big bridge on your right side you'll see the Hotel Bristol. If you wish to be picked up, we offer a free shuttle from 8am to 5pm. If you arrive before or after these hours, please contact the front desk!

Is it possible to check-in before 3 pm?

If you wish to spend the day in Zermatt, you can get hear early and leave your luggage at the hotel. We will bring your luggage to the room as soon as the room is ready.

Which airport is the nearest?

From Zermatt there are 4 possible airports in proximity. Zurich Airport- Zermatt are 3.30 hours with the train, Geneva Airport-Zermatt are 4 hours, Basel - Zermatt are 3.45 hours and Milano Malpensa- Zermatt are 4 hours. To book a cheaper train ticket, follow this link:

I am allergic against down feathers and mites?

All our rooms have wooden floors. We can provide down feather free pillows and duvets. If you wish to exchange your pillow or duvet just let us know.

I would like to have a triple / quadruple room with Matterhorn view

Our normal family rooms are direction Mischabel Mountains. If you wish to have Matterhorn view, make a request directly with the front desk. If any vacancy you can book a deluxe double room with an extra bed.

Can I take my dog?

Dogs are welcome in our hotel. We charge CHF 10.00 per day per without food. We do not allow dogs in our dining room. If you wish to be in presence of your loved one during meals after all, we have a separate table in the lobby, where you can dine. Please mention your dog when you book.

I arrive very late, how long is the front desk occupied?

Our reception is open until 11 pm. For a late arrival, please inform us.

I only booked Bed and Breakfast, can I add halfboard

Half board is unfortunately not bookable, but we offer small snacks at our bar.

Do you offer glutenfree / lactosefree products?

Yes, for breakfast we have various glutenfree products. We even have an alternative to milk. As for dinner, our chefs will gladly prepare a special dietary menu. Please inform us when you book or upon your arrival.

We leave before 7 am, when should we check out?

We kindly ask you to settle the bill the night before and to inform us of your early check-out. On request we can organize your transport to the train station or taxi stand.

Can I leave my luggage after check-out?

If you wish to leave your luggage after check-out, we have a luggage room. If you are staying in mountain huts and need it to be stored for a couple of days, just leave it with us at the reception and we will store it for the needed time. Shuttle to the station is provided untill 5 pm.
